In this episode, we head to Bayreuth, the hometown of Richard Wagner, the composer of the most ambitious operatic saga in all of musical history, “The Ring of the Nibelung”.

This tetralogy is made up of four operas: The Rhine Gold, The Valkyrie, Siegfried and Twilight of the Gods. We’ll touch on all of them as we visit the Autostad automotive plant, walk the stage at the Bayreuther Festspielhaus (the theatre designed by Wagner himself), and converse with one of the most renowned experts on the composer. We’ll also witness an unusual musical experiment at a scrapyard and will visit with musicologist and pianist Stephan Mickish. In this episode, Ramón Gener will immerse us in an unforgettable story about power and love.
